When we communicate, we verbalise a thought/feeling/need and ‘code’ it. For example, there are a million different ways to say “pass me the salt”, politely or rudely, quickly or slowly, the list goes on. Communication is a skill that can be learned, which means you can become an expert! A lot of good communicators follow a set of guidelines when interacting with the consumer. They think carefully about how to listen and speak to clients most effectively to provide the best possible service. In this session you will learn how to become better specialists in your chosen field and ensure you maximize your own potential in the way you connect and communicate with your customers to improve the service you are offering to clients. .

“Enhance Your Customers Experience” - Tara Bradbury
Customer experience is one of the hottest topics in the world of Real Estate. Customer experience is the overall quality of all the interactions a consumer has with a company and its products and services. These includes all aspects of real estate, from pre- and post-sale interactions to property management, and can be either direct—e.g., when a customer calls the Property management department—or indirect, such as when a customer reads a social media post about another person’s interaction with the agency. We must learn to listen with intent when connecting with our customers and in this session you will leave with a better understanding of how you can enhance the client’s experience to improve best practice in real estate.

We will also look at the impact the team can have on the customer and ensure members are aware of the skills required to ensure exceptionally customer service is provided prior to hiring.

Learn how to achieve it, maintain it, grow a business from it and adopt it as a philosophy from some of the country’s industry leaders.

Room 1- “Navigating the Insurance Maze” 
This session will demystify the complexities surrounding insurances for the consumer and it will even look at how multiple areas of one policy can come under one claim. This session will also explore real consumer scenarios and will explain how a PM can facilitate a claim on behalf of their clients and successfully manage expectations at the same time. It will also arm PMs with the tools needed to effectively communicate appropriate insurance needs to the landlord.

Don’t lower expectation to meet performance, raise your level of performance to meet your expectations. This power session will explore what you need to do to expect – and get – the best from yourself and your team. Get real hands-on strategies to successfully lead by example and inspire those around you to excel and reach their potential too. Once you become more hands on with your clients you can expect they will have a better understanding of what is needed to achieve the highest possible return and best result for the investment property. Remember the customer will tell you they are always right so your approach means everything in the client’s experience.

It’s the question that gets asked time and time again. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been in the industry for 10 years or 10 weeks, the size of the portfolio a property manager can affectively manage relies on a number of factors.  In this session Kasey will break down the elements involved to give clarity on what can be expected by an employee and an employer. As an additional bonus, Kasey will be sharing her PM Department Bottom line template, so make sure you visit her at the RETG stand.
